The Floor Chicken Face Off can be performed as a dual between two people (as shown in the photo) or as a mass event. The rules are simple: the first person to perform a Floor Chicken and hold the position for 3 seconds wins. With multiple participants, the event could be split into knock-out rounds with a grand final to determine the overall winner.

Floor Chicken Face Off

Floor Chicken

  1. Find a clear level floor space.
  2. Place hands on floor and manoeuvre knees around outsides of arms and position them on the elbow area.
  3. Tilt body forward so weight is resting on elbows.
  4. Rock body forward until feet are raised from the floor. Hold in position so as to create a state of equilibrium.
RULES AND NOTES

Perform the contest on level flooring.

Careful not to be too close together as head butting could occur.

Make sure both participants are situated on the same type of surface (i.e. don't have one on carpet and one on wood floor).

The Floor Chicken must be performed as dictated in the step-by-step instructions- no variations allowed.

There will need to be unbiased adjudicators present to check the individual moves for validity and time duration.

If neither participant has managed to perform a valid Floor Chicken within 5 minutes, the contest is considered a draw and both people made fun of.
